Rustic Bridal Shower

Hey everyone!! Life has been so busy!! I have missed blogging about decor items. I feel terrible and working on multiple blogs at once so I may continue to roll them out. One reason I have been so busy is I have 2 weddings and a baby shower not to mention life. lol But I had the opportunity to help throw a bridal shower for a close friend and wanted to share some pictures and items you can use as its holiday season aka party season! Woo hoo!

For the shower we did a simple rustic theme as seen in the pictures below!

So some details on the table decor. Table runner is a burlap roll found at Hobby Lobby. Napkins, linens and glasses were rented. My personal tip for parties is to rent or simply buy some nicer plastic toss away plates. I think Party City has a great variety. I think its totally worth it and you can spend more time enjoying your party rather than cleaning up.  So check out the link below:

We had a beverage bar, guest book/game table. I call it the trinket table as its filled with a variety of items and some decor. Who can miss the desert bar?!

What I want to highlight with these food/drink tables is the serving wear and dishes. I got my things from Aki-Home to include the above desert stack tray and drink dispenser both under $25 each. So if you are local to Southern California there stores are located in Fontana, Torrance, Chino, Fullerton, and Tustin.

Drink dispenser: $ 19.99

Check out there site for all kinds of goodies and did I mention they kitchen ware is on sale until Monday!

Last share of Aki-Home….but this copper bar ware! Yasssssss you need to get it! They have a whole set and I grabbed the stemmed wine glasses there as well. But can you guess where I grabbed the stemless…..the cent store! You can’t even tell! I did this because they’re plastic and affordable! Perfect for upcoming holiday parties so my feelings wont be hurt if someone drops them cause they won’t break!

Now before I leave I want to leave you Ebony’s top 5 party hosting tips:

#1 Use plastic/paper dishware for easy clean up

#2 Lie about your party time! Yes that sounds terrible but we all know people always run 30 minutes to 1 hour late

#3 If guests offer to bring food or drinks don’t tell them to bring “whatever” be specific!

#4 Make a playlist so there’s good jams throughout the whole night! Music can make or break a vibe 🙂

#5 Tell your guests the attire

Alright everyone this was a brief blog highlighting some much need things for the holiday season! And since I never posts personal photos here is a treat 😉 I exist! lol and congrats to my beautiful friend since grade school!
