Hey everyone! Sorry I took a little break as I was on vacation. I just want to say I’m ready to go back! lol. We went to Cancun and it was absolutely beautiful! I’m a planner so I have to pat myself on the back that I did a very well planned vacation, with the exception of I needed one more day…I suppose that’s always the case.
I just want to throw it out there that if you are a Costco member you need to check out Costco travel. Also tip if you go to Canun, take the time to see Chichen Itza. I mean its one of the 7 Wonders of the World! The tours are great too because they really tell you their history and the rich culture of the Mayans. Following our tour of the ruins we went to a Cenote (aka sink hole or swimming hole). I can’t begin to describe the beauty of that but I will have a vacation video soon to share with all of you 🙂 Our next big adventure while there was this magical place called Xcaret. All I have to say about that place is, that its worth every penny you spend and take the entire day exploring, don’t cheat yourself. Links below if you are interested in any of those activities for your future Cancun vacation.
Ok…so why I’m really here is because of the dining table. I never showed you the official completed product with the chairs! We found chairs!!! Unexpected find courtesy of Marshalls. And to find all 4 chairs there is even more special. My regualr Marshall shoppers know what I mean.
I want to say I’m glad I waited for chairs because the comfort ability of my butt is crucial! lol Let me just tell you that these chairs are sooooo comfortable! Also the thought that I was going to buy chairs online without know what they really felt like now seems a little bit crazy. Anyways below are the chairs and they were $50 each.
Final product of our dining room 🙂 I’m pretty happy with it. It’s quite the change from what was there. Apart of this change was wanting to modernize it a bit more and I think it meets a happy medium with the rest of the house. Side note: I can’t change the chandelier as we are renters but trust me if I could I would…
If you like the chairs let me know and comment. Always interested in feedback. The wall frames are courtesy of Ikea and the pictures in them are from Pexels.com. So happy to finally say I’ve seen water that clear and that blue! Below are some similar chairs I found online for your browsing and view pleasure click the item and be directed to their retail site. Until next time friends! Enjoy the weekend!
